Union Leader Deserves Thanks
September 28, 2009At first I will say I was rather upset. Maybe more than upset, maybe I was actually angry, very surprised, dam it, no, I’ll say it out loud, I WAS TICKED OFF. Every time I read the Union Leader and Kathy Sullivan, the former chairman (actually I think she still holds the position) of the state democrat party has an op-ed in the UL I would shake my head and think what in the world is the UL thinking allowing that trashmouth to have her say in the statewide paper? Then the light went off. It was Sullivan’s latest nasty diatribe about Kelly Ayotte that made me realize the UL is brilliant. Why allow Sullivan to only have her biased, one sided angry foul mouthed rants only on Blue Hampshire? Why not, instead, let the whole State read Sullivan’s nasty, one sided, biased rants against anything republican. Brilliant! Everytime Kathy Sullivan espouses her senseless views about republican candidates or any republican idea readers around the State can see for themselves what a backward, hateful, spiteful group of democrat leaders NH has allowed to rise to the top. Mike Brunelle, Ray Buckley and Kathy Sullivan, what a terrific trio the democrats in NH have as its mouthpiece. I say keep letting them speak, write and appear on television. The more NH voters see this group, the faster republicans will gain control and straighten out NH. I get it now. I get it. Brilliant Union Leader. Brilliant!

It’s more surprising than brilliant. I honestly never thought the Union Leader would publish anything that contradicted the nasty, one sided, biased rants against anything progressive that is that rag’s normal fare. Honest to god props to them for not being afraid to air the other side of the wing-nut (both left and right) debate.

Kathy Sullivan is not the only person who hurts herself and her cause every time she opens her mouth. It’s quite a common malady actually, but the difference between Kathy and others who do it (like a certain Aldermanic candidate who writes under the Fairmind moniker) is that she doesn’t have to get elected and he and others do. It’s why he and others always lose.

The one good thing about the aldermanic candidate you think is writing on here, is that he WON his primary and has on many occasions volunteered to enter into races knowing he did not have a chance to win. When you run and win you get to criticise with a lot more credibility. I usually find the biggest whiners are the ones that have never run for anything or understand the game or the particular aldermanic candidate you attack might have beat your favorite candidate or stole your girlfriend.
