I have a question for you. If government does such a great job with health care, why isn’t congress using a government run program like Medicare or Medicaid ? Then there is the VA. Why aren’t you and members of congress and your families not already using VA hospitals for YOUR care if the government does such a great job of managing health care? For that matter, why aren’t all federal employees already on government run health care if it saves so much money and is Oh soooooo good?
You know why. Not only will it cost a hell of a lot more than we now pay, the quality will be lower than what people on private health care programs already have and you know it but think it is OK for us the peon citizens.
OH…..and I didn’t even mention the huge amount of CORRUPTION in the present government run systems that never gets investigated. Where are the investigations? What will the corruption look like when millions of people are using the public plan? Talk about WASTING TAXPAYER DOLLARS!
