Another Day, Another Poll, Another Loss for Hodes

July 28, 2010Matt Suermann

The full poll has yet to be released but, according to a Tweet from Paul Hodes’ campaign they are quite content only losing to a Republican candidate by 8 points.  This evening, UNH and WMUR will be rolling out the first results from their poll on the US Senate race. (I’m assuming that it will [...]

UNH Releases VERY Early 2012 Primary Polling Data

May 18, 2010Matt Suermann

I think its pretty safe to file this in the “wicked early” department but, UNH has finally released the final piece of their recent Granite State Poll.  As we are all aware there are  still 20 months (or so) and a midterm election until the first votes are cast in the 2012, but it none [...]

Is Lynch on a Benson Glide Path?

May 2, 2010Matt Suermann

This morning on WMUR, the UNH poll results for the Governor’s race were revealed or at least the number that many observers were looking for-the head to head between Gov. Lynch and John Stephen and Gov. Lynch’s approval numbers.  (They haven’t posted the full press release as of yet).
While there is still a lot of [...]

February 5, 2010Matt Suermann

Well, this should be setting off some major alarm bells in the NHDP High Command.  It looks like the Obama “charm” is spreading to another state.

Ayotte Beats Hodes…

July 2, 2009Matt Suermann

or thats what the UNH Survey Center says in their latest Granite State Poll.
UNH surveyed 505 likely 2010 General Election voters between June 24 and July 1.  The overall margin of error for the statewide results is +/- 4.4%.
In this latest poll, it shows how the 2010 open Senate election is tracking, and the head [...]

Dartmouth needs to stay out of the polling business

May 13, 2009Amos Tuck

So the smarty pants folk up at Dartmouth College put together their first poll (in a decade?) and they come out with something that only samples 400 people, comes out way too late to be relevant, and has a sample size that would make even Andy Smith at UNH chuckle.
They find 45 percent of the [...]

Conservatives Have Work to Do on a Number of Issues

May 7, 2009ClarenceClaus

While most conservatives celebrated the results of the latest Granite State Poll showing Paul Hodes behind and Carol Shea-Porter with underwhelming numbers, some of the results of the poll were disturbing.  Voters were polled on a bunch of issues being dealt with by the Legislature.  With the exception of parental notification and the death penalty, [...]

But one of those Republicans may have reason to consider a comeback. In New Hampshire, a new Granite State Poll shows Sununu leading Rep. Paul Hodes, the likely Democratic nominee in the race to succeed retiring Sen. Judd Gregg (R). If [...]
