Today, President Obama and leaders from both sides of the aisle met for the much talked about health care summit.  Following the TV melodrama, Jennifer Horn, candidate for the 2nd Congressional District, issued the following statement:

Great news for Doug Hoffman in New York’s 23rd Congressional District. Republican nominee Dede Scozzafava has suspended her campaign, and is releasing her supporters to the remaining two candidates, Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman and Democratic nominee Bill Owens.

The Washington based newspaper CQ has moved the NH-2 from a likely Democratic District to Lean Democratic District in response to the news that fmr. Rep. Charlie Bass is considering a comeback.  NH-2 now joins NH-1 as being in the Lean Democratic category.
