GREGG: SENATE HEALTH PROPOSAL VIOLATES OBAMA MIDDLE CLASS TAX PLEDGE
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) today issued the following statement after the Senate failed to approve the motion offered by Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID). This motion would have protected individuals earning less than $200,000 and families earning less than $250,000 per year from tax increase provisions contained in the current Democratic health care legislation.
Senator Gregg stated, “Last September, while campaigning in Dover, President Obama pledged that ‘…no family making less than $250,000 will see their taxes increase — not your income taxes, not your payroll taxes, not your capital gains taxes, not ANY of your taxes.’ Unfortunately, the Senate Democratic health care proposal directly violates this pledge and will result in tax increases for 73 million individuals and families with incomes under $200,000.
“I am extremely disappointed that my colleagues rejected the motion offered by Senator Crapo to address these unfair tax increases on working families. I urge the President to work with the Democratic Leadership to make sure his pledge is upheld in the final version of this legislation.”

Senator Gregg? When will this weeny lame duck go away, he is an illegal alien loving wimp who should fade out sooner than later. If there was an excellent example of Beeker from the Muppets it’s Judas Gregg. Meep.

Tis amazing how Judd Gregg supported all the big spending programs put forward by Republican George Bush but is first in line to criticize big spending by Demcocrat Obama. Says something–not at all good–about the integrity of the man. Wasn’t he right at the front of the line supporting the back bailouts in the fall of 2009? Followed by John McCain who might be President today if he’d had the nerve to buck Bush and Gregg and say, “No, never.” I won’t miss the juddster.

1st question for any candidate is, when’s the last time (if ever) you read the Constitution (state and federal)? 2nd, tell me of a bill that you cosponsored that supports the Constitution. If the Republicans won’t stand up, they need to stand down, bring on a viable 3rd party.
