From GraniteGrok.com:

Sean Mahoney, a native of New Hampshire from Portsmouth checks in. He is a well-respected small businessman and currently is President of Millyard Communications, Inc., the Publisher of BusinessNH Magazine, the leading business publication in New Hampshire.

Highly active in NH’s political and non-profit communities, Sean ran for the Republican nomination for U.S. Representative in the 2002 primary in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District, was a Delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2004 and in January, 2007 was elected as the New Hampshire Committeeman to the Republican National Committee. He currently fights for the New Hampshire First in the Nation Primary on the RNC’s Rules Committee, which establishes the Presidential primary process every four years.

During a recent appearance on TV, which we posted here, Sean discussed the health care issue and its implications for small business with such skill and detail that he caught the attention of a great many people, judging by the number of emails I received telling me about it. We’ll talk about that, what’s happening at the RNC (We had NH’s National CommitteeWOMAN Phyllis Woods last week- click here), his view of America and NH in this the age of Obama, and what he believes needs be done about it. Oh, and we might even ask about what he thinks HE can do about it…

Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1994. He resides in Portsmouth with his wife Kirsten and son Jack. A lover of the outdoors, he has climbed to the summits of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mount Rainer and Mount Washington. He is an avid skier and runner.

Jennifer Horn lives in Nashua and is the host of “On The Air With Jennifer Horn” on radio station WSMN 1590. She was the 2008 Republican nominee for NH’s 2nd Congressional District, during which time she joined us on several occasions on MTNP radio. She is very active in both politics and in volunteering for a wide variety of causes and charitable groups and lives in Nashua with her husband Bill where they raise 5 children.

Jennifer will be in studio to join us in a roundtable discussion of a variety of issues which will include:

*

Jen’s great Nashua Telegraph column (posted here on the ‘Grok, as well) entitled “When did speaking up become “un-American?” (After all, we’re just agreeing with Hillary)
*

Why do our representatives hide? Hodes, at an event at a UNION HALL, and Shea Porter, during a time when many grassroots (the REAL kind) activists will be gathered in Rochester?
*

Guns. OMIGAWDHESGOTTAGUN!!! Imagine- people exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. Who knew?! Of course, the gun-grabbers don’t miss their chance.
*

Is Obama reaching out to “faith based organizations” and straight out asking them to preach from the pulpit the need for health care reform? What would have been the reaction of media/populace if a certain former President had done that?
*

Healthcare. Sarah Palin wins a round. He (or she) who controls the soundbite can sometimes win the day. Oh, and the as to “at the end” counseling by the government, it already happens. At the VA.
*

Where have all the antiwar protesters gone? Sadly, the death of a NH soldier in Afghanistan reminds us the war rages on. Byron York noted that without Bush, it seems the war is no longer a big deal in a recent piece for the Washington Examiner, which brought a response from uber-protester Cindy Sheehan who, in fact, IS still protesting. Except the media no longer cares.
*

Hey, you, Macaca! Are you wee- wee’d up? We’ll listen and try to figure out what the Obamessiah meant.
*
And of course,=======>> Your calls are always encouraged at 603-527-1490.

It all starts at 9AM EST Saturday. Tune in if you’re in Central NH at NewsTalk 1490AM WEMJ or live on the ‘Net here…
