A few weeks ago it was announced that Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) would be making a trip to the Granite State to headline a fundraiser for State Senate Republicans.  The  NHGOP sent out the announcement today, complete with the host committee:

While the host committee may seem pretty normal to Granite Staters, the host committee is drawing attention from DC reporters hungry to find any potential tea leaves for 2012 Primary endorsements.  In true New Hampshire fashion Sen. Jeb Bradley offered the following:

As one of nine state Senate Republicans in the Granite state, Bradley is listed on the host committee for Pawlenty’s Dec. 16 event in Concord. The event, according to Bradley, will benefit New Hampshire Senate Republicans and he said his participation does not count as an endorsement.

“I think what the governor is trying to do is help Republicans throughout the country, including in New Hampshire,” Bradley said in a phone interview. “We’re thrilled he’s willing to give up his time to visit our state.”

So does this visit count towards the traditional “I need to meet him 3 times before I support him”? And what do you all make of the speculation of potential endorsements coming out TPaw’s trip to the Granite State?
