So I got an email this week from “friendsofsenatorbobsmith” announcing that former Rep. Duncan Hunter has endorsed Smith in Smith’s campaign for US Senate in Florida. This is the race shaping up as Gov. Charlie Crist vs. Marco Rubio. Smith’s slogan appears to be “Principles Above Politics” – a phrase most of us associate with former Gov. Meldrim Thomson.
