We all said on Sept. 11, 2001 that we would never forget. Though our memories of the departed and the terror we all felt that day live on, Scheuer’s point is that our will for action does not. And without popular will for a true offensive against the United States’ biggest existential threat, this administration will simply allow us to return to a pre-9/11 state of complacency.

In a November Mayoral/State Senate election, Gatsas would serve as a strong top-of-the-ticket candidate to bring out the conservative base in Manchester. “Lazy” Republicans that don’t know Rep. Boutin will likely cast a vote for him – though they are far less likely to get out to vote for him in a spring special election. It’s a double whammy, and its the only sure fire way of the GOP holding onto both SD16 and the Mayor’s office.

It appears VP and aspiring national GOP leader, Dick Cheney, has sured up his support for gay marriage – atleast on the state level. Speaking at the National Press Club today, Cheney indicated his support for full marriage rights for gays as long as marriage is continued to be regulated state by state.
