Open Seat: State Sen. Deb Reynolds Not Running

June 29, 2009joey_dauben

State Sen. Deb Reynolds, D-Plymouth, has been talking up a potential congressional run for the open CD-2 seat, and as a result, this could pave the way for conservative Republican state Rep. Fran Wendleboe to take this open seat.
Reynolds, and on-again, off-again supporter of “gay marriage,” has reportedly been at this congressional campaign spiel [...]

Misguided Sen. Deb Reynolds Misspent $5,000+

June 8, 2009joey_dauben

Why is state Sen. Deb Reynolds, D-Plymouth, spending campaign cash – $5,000-plus – on expenses not related to her campaigns? Hmm, since when did campaign contributions signal the need for slush funds?

With 10 years of [...]

Today I felt the need to reclaim my roots. During the near-decade of newspaper reporting/editing experience that I accumulated since my junior year of high school, only recently did I begin to focus on college. I entered a full semester in 2006 with six years of newspaper experience under my belt. Talk about a real-world [...]

May 20, 2009joey_dauben

For those GOP clubs, committees and chapters needing a Young Republican’s point of view (or just to have a Sam Adams), here’s a North Country lad willing to travel the distance to showcase our future generation: me.
Seriously, though, I’ve heard from many that the question constantly comes up, “How can we recruit more young people [...]

May 20, 2009joey_dauben

There are two teams (Renewal vs. Next Level) vying for the Young Republican National Federation chairmanship, and the Granite State voted to endorse Team Renewal led by Audra Shay and send its eight delegates to Indianapolis in July for the national YR convention (July 8-12.)
From the NHYRs:

Grafton County Treasurer Should Resign

May 20, 2009joey_dauben

20-year-old Grafton County Treasurer Vanessa Sievers, D-Hanover/Montana, needs to resign and resign immediately. Her actions and inaction, according to the Take Back Orford blog, are unacceptable and irresponsible.

Grafton County is losing money by the clock because of Sievers’ refusal to do her job that taxpayers elected her last fall to do.
A Dartmouth College student, Sievers, [...]
